Derrick Kosinski comes from a place of experience. When you come at an OG, you best not miss. Konsinski can’t help but to feel like there’s something dirty that happened on episode 4 of All Stars 2.

Starting off in Road Rules, Konsinski came a long way. He was a winner of The Inferno 3, The Island, and The Ruins, and a finalist on The Inferno II, XXX: Dirty 30, and All Stars. He also competed on Battle of the Sexes 2, The Gauntlet 2, Fresh Meat, The Duel, Cutthroat, and All Stars 2.

After Steve Meinke, Nehemiah Clark, and Casey Cooper figured out a way to burn Jodi Weatherton and Cohutta Grindstaff’s Life Shields, they orchestrated an elimination showdown between Kosinski and his ally/fellow Challenge champion Brad Fiorenza.

Derrick Kosinski against Brad Fiorenza was a big blindside orchestrated by Casey Cooper and gang. It was a big shock to see a major competitor go home early in the season. That too at the hands of Casey, who is not usually known for her political moves on the shows.

Casey and Derrick used to be buddies. Her decision to target him appeared to him and fans to come out of the blue. Derrick appeared on “MTV’s Official Challenge Podcast” to break down what he called Casey’s “savage move.”

“Before we got to The Challenge, we were literally working together on food and coffee,” he explained. “She’s literally waiting in line to get us Starbucks, and I’m waiting in line to get us Chinese food… Right there, we’re starting to re-form what I thought was a good relationship.”

Derrick recounted that after he won the first challenge with Jodi, Casey approached him and suggested that he put her down as one of the two options. According to Derrick, Casey told him that she knew she wouldn’t get the house votes and it made Derrick’s job easier as he didn’t have to anger the two women he named (Leah Gillingwater as the other).

Derrick told Aneesa and Tori that at that point, he was overjoyed because it meant that he would be working together with her. “She’s little Casey. Like, who’s not rooting for little Casey? Until she pulls that savage move on Derrick! Now nobody’s rooting for little Casey!” Derrick joked.
