Drake recently attended the NBA game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets. Of course, Drizzy had courtside seats. He’s a megastar. The couple in the seats next to the Toronto rapper appeared to have no clue.

Before the game, cameras in the arena showed the celebrity to the crowd and television viewers. The older man sitting next to him asked him something, and Drake thought it was hilarious. He called the camera operator over to show his new pal.

The Thunder’s mascot, Rumble, also joined in on the fun. Drake seems to have made a couple new friends. He later posted a selfie with the couple to his Instagram. It was captioned, “My new parents.”

Drake was there to support fellow Toronto native Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He dropped 39 points for OKC, but the Thunder lost to the Rockets in the end, 114-110. The two shared an embrace after the game.

The couple must have some money if they were sitting courtside in the same seats as Drake. Maybe they talked about what it’s like to be rich. The fan could also have asked Drake why the camera kept focusing on him.

In the end, some fans have a great story to tell. So does Drake, who is used to getting recognized nearly everywhere. Maybe he’ll stay in touch with his “new parents” in the future.

What do you think of Drake’s new “parents”? Let us know in the comments!
