In 2016, Soulja Boy could’ve signed NBA YoungBoy. That’s the story Soulja tells, at least. He did share direct messages from an even younger YoungBoy to verify the claims. Now, NBA YoungBoy has responded to the Soulja Boy telling the story.

On the Off the Record podcast, YoungBoy didn’t mince his words. He said he doesn’t care what Soulja Boy says. NBA claims he missed his chance and isn’t thinking about it.

“I don’t give a f*ck that he posted that sh*t. Sh*t, he missed out on his chance. I don’t give a f*ck about that sh*t.

I don’t give a f*ck, man. … That man ain’t on my mind.”

Soulja Boy initially said that YoungBoy DM’d him. He was trying to get a deal. By the time he saw YoungBoy’s response to his reply, he was already signed. He says he could’ve done the deal way back in 2016.

NBA recently said that music was causing him too many problems in his life. He also expressed an interest in working with Tekashi 6ix9ine. It doesn’t sound like he’ll be collaborating with Soulja Boy any time soon.
