Update: Cardi B has responded to this story, and she’s not happy.

Original: Cardi B and vlogger Tasha K (real Latasha Kebe) have been entangled in a messy legal battle for over two years. Cardi is suing Tasha K for defamation.

The “WAP” rapper sued Latasha Kebe for $75,000 in 2019 for spreading false rumors that she has herpes. The suit lists Tasha’s malicious allegations involving Cardi’s alleged drug abuse, prostitution and sexually transmitted diseases.

According to Billboard, Judge Ray directed the Center for Women’s Pelvic Health at UCLA on Monday (November 22) to disclose “any and all medical records within your possession related solely to the testing for Herpes and HPV [human papillomavirus] for Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar,” referring to Cardi B by her real name.

The negative herpes test results will play a vital role in determining the outcome of the lawsuit. It will prove that Tasha K’s STD accusations were false, which must be done in order to win the defamation lawsuit. The trial is to be held on January 5, 2022.

Cardi B has obviously denied all allegations. The Bodak Yellow rapper claims she even gave the vlogger the opportunity to retract her inflammatory remarks. Tasha K rejected the opportunity. She also failed to countersue Cardi B for $3 million in which she baselessly claimed that Cardi had sent Blood gang members to threaten her.
