Britney Spears Will Not Be Part Of The Weeknd’s The Idol Show

The Weeknd remains one of the best singers in the modern music industry and that is largely due to the themes shown in his albums, notably his After Hours album. Now it seems Britney Spears won’t be part of The Weeknd’s upcoming project.

In an unprecedented victory, Spears’ father Jamie was finally suspended from her conservatorship. This brought joy and relief to Britney Spears and her supporters. Finally, after 13 long years, Britney Spears was finally free from her conservatorship. Due to this many fans wondered if Spears would appear in more shows now.

According to TMZ, Britney Spears fans who hoped they would get to see the singer on The Weeknd’s new project with HBO will be left disappointed. This is because she is not part of it. Spears recently took to her Instagram and announced, “I just shot a movie titled “THE IDOL“ … it’s guaranteed to have hits and a lot bright pics to put in my beautiful family’s faces !!!!!”

Spears’ announcement came hours after it was announced The Weeknd’s show “The Idol” was greenlit for HBO. Due to this many fans automatically assumed she would be part of the show.

However, that is not the case as it was reported that Britney Spears had not been asked to be a part of the HBO show. Her team is also unsure as to what movie she was referring to in her caption. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Britney Spears and whether she will take part in an actual film or not.
