2016’s Doctor Strange made many fans familiar with Benedict Cumberbatch’s character of the same name. Strange has been featured in several films since then, including Avengers Infinity War and Endgame, where he played a significant role. He will also have a huge role to play in Spider-Man: No Way Home, which will deal with multiverses.

Tom Holland also previously stated that Spider-Man: No Way Home will be the end of the Homecoming trilogy. He then made it clear that a fourth film featuring the webhead isn’t impossible. Holland further added that Marvel would build something different with a possible fourth film.

It was also previously reported that Spider-Man: No Way Home will mark the beginning of the shared universe with Sony and Marvel. Holland even admitted that he didn’t think the script would work at first.

The second trailer for the upcoming film was finally released recently and gave fans a much better look at Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock and him working with Tom Holland and the crew. It also showed off several of Spiderman’s villains from various universes.

However, there was a distinct lack of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield from the trailer. Due to this, fans took to Twitter and were outraged at their absence as many of them wanted to see the two former Spiderman actors in action.

is andrew garfield in this yes or no??

Prediction: no Tobey and Andrew. I am more than happy to eat my words later but a Spider-Man (the character) ensemble isn’t the vibe I’m getting.

We know Tobey and Andrew are in there somewhere!!! Dont let us down

You can’t tell me Andrew and Toby aren’t in the movie bruh

andrew spiderman better save her or im walking out

if tobey and andrew arent in nwh i am gonna die from sadness

Holland also recently stated that the film will be very dark and sad and not fun at all. With Spider-Man: No Way Home promising to be one of the most ambitious films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it is likely they will be bringing in many characters from the previous Spider-Man films. We will have to see how the film will become the bridge between the MCU and Sony’s universes.
