Spider-Man: No Way Home will be picking up right after the events of 2019’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. It was stated by reports that Spider-Man: No Way Home will be one of the many upcoming Marvel movies that will focus on the multiverse.

With its focus on the multiverse, many fans have been wondering whether the upcoming Spider-Man film will have previous Spider-Man actors such as Andrew Garfield.

Despite all the rumors, Garfield would deny his involvement in the upcoming film but then changed his mind about possibly appearing in the film. Emma Stone, who portrayed the role of Gwen Stacy opposite Andrew Garfield in the two Spider-Man films, has also denied rumors of making an appearance in the film.

To make matters interesting, it seems the upcoming film will also mark the beginning of the shared Marvel universe between Sony and the MCU. Earlier this year, Spider-Man 2 actor Alfred Molina essentially spoiled his appearance in the upcoming film as he teased that he would reprise his Doc Ock role.

While speaking to ET, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was asked what he thought about Molina’s comments about his possible appearance in No Way Home. Feige would go on to essentially confirm Molina’s appearance.

“Everything we make is hopefully the intention of exceeding expectations and fulfilling surprises. Not every rumor you read about online is true, not by a long shot, but not every one is false either. So that’s the fun.”

Spider-Man: No Way Home is expected to release on December 17 this year. We will have to wait and see whether it will live up to fan expectations or not.
