It has been ten years since the world lost Amy Winehouse. In all this time, it seems that fans’ love for the singer has not reduced one bit.

The dress worn by Winehouse during her final performance was recently auctioned. While the dress was initially expected to raise between $15,000 and $17,000, the dress actually raked in $243,200.

The green-and-black dress was designed by Winehouse’s stylist, Naomi Parry, and was worn by the singer during her performance in Belgrade, Serbia in June 2011. She had passed away from alcohol poisoning just a month later.

More than 800 of the singer’s dresses, shoes, and jewelry have been auctioned for a total of about $4 million, via Julien’s Auctions.

Parry revealed to the New York Post that she felt “an immense amount of sadness” when she saw her design, as the dress was supposed to “be the start of something new and moving forward.”
