Lindsay Lohan is a major celebrity who has been living in Dubai for several years. When producer Andy Cohen announced that his hit Real Housewives franchise would be expanding to Dubai, rumors started flowing. Fans wondered whether Lindsay would be involved in the show somehow.

On Tuesday, Cohen told TMZ that he loves Lindsay Lohan. He said he’d absolutely want her on the show. Cohen discussed the rumors with Jerry O’Connell on What What Happens Live on Wednesday after the RHOBH reunion.

“Let me tell you something. It’s a good idea, Jerry.”

Cohen said that Lohan wasn’t yet a part of the cast, but that he’s extremely keen on the idea. He said that the cast hasn’t been announced yet. All he’s willing to give up right now are that it’s a group of friends.

“They’re a group of friends. It’s great. We haven’t announced the cast yet. But we’re really excited about them.”

Cohen unveiled the new series, Real Housewives of Dubai, during an appearance on Monday’s Today show. The producer made some hefty promises about the new season which will film in the oil-rich city in the United Arab Emirates.

“Everything’s bigger in Dubai, and I couldn’t be more excited to launch Bravo’s first international Housewives series in a city I’ve been fascinated by for years, with an outstanding group of friends as our guides. This is going to blow the lid off the entire franchise.”

The new show will mark yet another show in the universe of the Real Housewives. The series kicked off with The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2006. Fifteen years later and it has expanded to locales such as Beverly Hills, Potomac (Maryland), Atlanta, and many more. Now, the US version of the show will feature its first international destination.
