Dancing With The Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba has come under fire from fans for being “misogynistic.” Fans of the show believe that there is a double standard when it comes to the way Inaba scores women versus how she scores men.

However, there are other fans who are of the complete opposite opinion, believing instead that Inaba is criticized far more than her male colleagues. In fact, there is a whole Reddit thread of fans responding to the criticism of Inaba.

People have been leveling this accusation against [Carrie Ann] for seasons. Every comment she makes is picked apart. Her tone isn’t right, her facial expressions are off, why did she say it like that, etc, etc. Yet I don’t see her making comments that are vastly different from her male counterparts

Commenters pointed out that the people criticizing Inaba for being “misogynistic” are doing the exact same thing themselves. Others stated that they felt like Inaba is the only judge who has been “keeping it real.”

Another user also pointed out the unfair criticism leveled at host Tyra Banks, as well as other female hosts like Samantha Harris, Brooke Burke, and Erin Andrews. This user also pointed out that host Tom Begeron never faced this level of fan hate despite making mistakes.

The unfair treatment of women by the media as well as by viewers is certainly a pressing concern. It is great to see fans being more proactive in dealing with this issue. Check out the Reddit thread below.
