Ed Sheeran Tests Positive For COVID-19 Ahead Of SNL Appearance

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect everyone in the world and that includes the likes of MMA fighters, musicians and more. Even Korn’s Jonathan Davis is still suffering from the effects of COVID-19. Now it seems yet another musician has been affected by the virus.

Ed Sheeran has established himself as one of the most popular musicians in the modern era thanks to massive hits such as Shape Of You, Thinking Out Loud and more. He also has a very close relationship with music legend Sir Elton John.

Ed Sheeran took to his Instagram and informed fans that he has tested positive for COVID-19. Sheeran added that he is now self-quarantining himself and stated that he will do all of his interviews from his some now.

It was previously announced that Ed Sheeran was going to be appearing as a musical guest on the November 6th episode of ‘Saturday Night Live.’ Now it seems either he won’t appear for it at all or might do it via video from his home.

Ed Sheeran was set to join host Kieran Culkin and it is now likely he will perform from his house. We wish Ed Sheeran a speedy recovery and hope he will be able to defeat the virus and remain healthy.
