Jake Paul and Ben Askren squared off against each other on April 17th at Triller Fight Club. The fight didn’t exactly live up to the hype for many fans as it ended far too quickly. Jake Paul knocked out Ben Askren in the first round and fans didn’t like that at all. Fans, UFC Fighters and even Chris Jericho called out the match for being rigged.

Despite his embarrassing loss at the hands of Jake Paul, Ben Askren stated that he did not regret facing Jake Paul at all. Askren also made it clear that he has no intention of fighting ever again and will focus his energy on being a coach.

With Jake Paul set to face off against Tyron Woodley on August 29th, many fans are wondering what Ben Askren has to say regarding the upcoming boxing match.

While speaking to TMZ, Ben Askren said that it is not likely Jake Paul will be able to beat Tyron Woodley. He also added that if Paul does win against Tyron Woodley, then Askren will feel much better about losing to Paul as well.

“I’m still not under the conclusion that (Jake) is a good boxer. He hit me one time really good, but it wasn’t like he beat me soundly over six rounds. He does hit hard, I guess we’ll give him credit for that.”

“If he’s able to beat Tyron, I will probably feel much better about what happened to me, because I’ll think damn, Tyron’s really good. I think that’s probably unlikely, but in that case, that’s probably what I’d think.”

We will have to wait and see if Paul will be able to topple Woodley or not in the boxing match on August 29 as a lot is riding on Jake Paul right now.
