LeBron James remains constant as one of the very first names that pop up whenever people talk about the GOAT in the NBA. This has been the trend for a long while, but it seems it’s coming to an end. Some might not agree now, because he’s developed a reputation for being a big whiner.

James had a pretty rough time as of late. Being laden with injury, he couldn’t be of much use to the Lakers when he was needed the most. Other names in the GOAT list include Giannis Antetokounmpo & Team USA’s very own Kevin Durant, who is currently captaining USA’s basketball team in the Tokyo Olympics.

LeBron James is currently not even considered to be part of the debate. According to a survey meant for only team executives and scouts on the GOAT in NBA made by Tim Bontemps of ESPN, James didn’t even score a single vote for the GOAT position. Ouch.

Antetokounmpo and Durant are both scored 5 votes each, making them way more preferred than James. Many bank on the idea that Antetokounmpo is going to level up hard after his championship win.

We’ll have to see how LeBron can rebound next season, but this was not his year.
