WWE is holding SummerSlam this weekend, and they wanted to make it a big show. The problem is that they can’t line up any notable names other than John Cena.

Cardi B was thought to host the biggest party of the summer, but her pregnancy nixed that. The company also tried to enlist in Mike Tyson’s help to do some voiceover work, but he wouldn’t do it for some reason.

According to Fightful Select, WWE also tried to get Megan Thee Stallion for SummerSlam. It was thought that the deal was 100% with the WAP rapper, but she pulled out of the appearance for some unknown reason.

Megan Thee Stallion was also planned for a spot involving Bianca Belair for Summerslam. However, WWE sources indicated they WWE thought it was a done deal, but were informed last weekend it wouldn’t be happening, which was still the case as of this morning.

We’ll have to see who WWE gets at the last minute, but losing Megan Thee Stallion is not a good thing for them. This is especially frustrating for the company since it was reportedly thought to be a done deal.

Megan Thee Stallion has not responded to this report, but we’ll keep our ear out for a reaction here at Thirsty.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
