Drax The Destroyer might not go away after Dave Bautista leaves the role. That has been established, but the big question is who will step into the part next. An actor who is generating some attention has now thrown his hat in the ring, no pun intended.

Batista made it clear that he is leaving the Drax role after the third Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Someone else might carry on the part and that is very likely.

Brett Azar, who plays Iron Sheik on Young Rock, has recently made it known that he is willing to fill Big Dave Bautista’s shoes. A report came out saying that Batista is irreplaceable in the part, but then Azar had to throw out his own name for consderation.

We’ll have to see if Marvel gives Brett Azar a call. He could pull off the presence, but it’s unknown if he will be able to nail that Drax comedic timing Dave Bautista effortlessly brought to the part.

Azar might also need to get in line because the Drax the Destroyer part is one that plenty of actors will petition for.

Who would you peg to replace Batista in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise? Sound off in the comments!
