The Rock has a ton of people in line just to pitch an idea to him. He has a limited amount of time so he only dedicates himself to projects he believes in. That gives extra weight to any project under the Seven Bucks Productions banner.

Dwayne Johnson is not in line to produce the new Warner Brothers action adventure film “Emergency Contact.” According to a report from Deadline, the film will also feature Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in the leading role.

Dwayne Johnson’s Seven Bucks and Beau Flynn’s Flynn Pictures will produce.  Hiram Garcia, and Dany Garcia of Seven Bucks are also producing.

The Rock’s production company, Seven Bucks Productions, will co-produce this Warner Bros film with Beau Flynn’s Flynn Pictures. It was written by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani.

The film, set in Austin Texas, does not have any exact details on the plot just yet. It will involve the underground music scene. We will have to see how much involvement The Rock has with the film. As of this writing, he is only attached as a producer.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
