Batista Demanded To Play Bane In Upcoming Batman Movie

Batista has been able to play some very cool roles in Hollywood so far. He really wants to play Bane and he’s not keeping it a secret.

While speaking at Justice Con, Dave Bautista revealed that he wanted to play the role of Bane so much that he straight-up demanded the role. They weren’t even casting for that part, but he didn’t care.

“Oh, it would be Bane all day long. I’ve made no secret about this. I want to play Bane so bad I went to Warner Bros., had an appointment with them, had an appointment with DC, walked in the door and said, ‘I want to play Bane.’ I’m not kidding. They were a little like ‘Woah, we’re not even casting Bane.’ I was like ‘I don’t care, I’m playing him.’”

Zack Snyder has also made comments about trying to get Bane for Batista, but there are other roles he has in mind for the former WWE Superstar. We’ll have to see what’s in the pipeline for big Dave Bautista, but odds are there will be issues if someone else gets the role of Bane out from underneath him.
