Batista has been blessed with many great roles. He takes each part seriously, and even trained with Navy SEALs recently for the Army of the Dead film. It makes us have to wonder how he would prepare for the role of a Batman villain.

While speaking on a panel at Justice Con, Zack Snyder said something very interesting about big Dave Bautista. He has ideas for Batista outside of the Bane character, but that is apparently what everyone wants Batista to play. So, now they must apparently convince him to take the role.

In the meantime, we just really gotta figure out how to get Dave Bautista to be Bane. I feel like, I mean, I saw him talking about it, and I was like, ‘O.K. well clearly, you know, I had some other ideas about what Dave Bautista might do in the DC Universe, but apparently it’s Bane, and we can talk about other ones, there’s other possibilities, but let’s just all accept the fact that he’s gotta be Bane, and there’s no two ways about it.’

Batista would be pretty perfect for the Batman villain role. Bane is a huge man, and Batista could follow-up Tom Hardy’s portrayal without having to hit the gym because he’s already plenty big enough for the role. We also can’t help but wonder what other roles there could be for Batista in the DC Universe.

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
