It’s only been a little while since Kodak Black came out of the prison early after being pardoned by former U.S. president Donald Trump. Even in that short while, he’s gotten engaged, launched a couple of digs and now released some good music.

While there wasn’t much promotional activity done on YNW Melly’s song with Black on the feature, the song still enjoyed a healthy amount of support from fans. The single is called “Thugged Out.”

Since the duo of rappers is from Florida, fans naturally expected a good sense of camaraderie between them. However, Kodak found the song underwhelming and took to Twitter to complain about it in a since-deleted tweet.

While Black complained that he sounds off beat, Melly told him not to play with their sound engineer, and that it sounds right. Perhaps Black has a different sense of rhythm about the song, but getting a different rendition of the song is good news for his fans as well.

No matter how Black feels about this version though, fans absolutely loved it and implored him and Melly to keep it as it is.
