Future & 2 Chainz are two distinct faces in rap. While they have their similarities, like having been originated from Atlanta, having braids, and both of them having features with Drake, but that’s about it.

ESPN had a huge hiccup with mistaking 2 Chainz for Future, and the fans are absolutely raging over it. To control the backlash, the post was removed from ESPN’s Instagram handle soon after being published.

With 2021 tuning into its third month, ESPN tried being creative and gave callbacks to Future’s brilliant performance in his album “March Madness” and having it compared with NBA legend from 60’s, Wilt Chamberlin’s fantastic statlines.

It’s all good up until this point, but then in the next photo, we see 2 Chainz showing off his Lakers’ gear, where Future was supposed to be. The post even credited 2 Chainz separately as one of Future’s rapper acquaintances, which further enraged fans.
