Beyoncé’s Father Mathew Knowles to Leave The Music Industry Behind

Mathew Knowles, longtime music industry veteran, says that he is ready to leave it all behind for something new.

Having started the careers of Destiny’s Child, and solo careers of his daughters Beyonce and Solange, Mathew is ready to leave it all behind for something he believes will have a more impact on the world.

Knowles told Page Sixx exclusively that in the next two years he plans to transition completely away from the music industry.

In the next two years, I will have transitioned completely out of the music industry… my plan is to be completely dedicated to mentoring, academia… There’s nothing negative about [the decision]. I’m personally ready to move on. I’ll continue to teach about the music business.

From a figurehead of the business to a promoter and mentor of sorts, Knowles will impart knowledge and wisdom about how the music industry works, thereby paving the road to more innovation within it.

Knowles is currently working on his latest project, which is his podcast named “Mathew Knowles Impact” which dropped on iHeartRadio last week. He is set to have interesting guests on his podcast, and a family member as well, which he hasn’t disclosed who will it be exactly.
