Tiger Woods was in a car wreck this week, and our thoughts are still with the famous golfer as he recuperates. He was transported to the famous Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for further treatment.

Woods medical team at UCLA confirmed to TMZ that Tiger Woods has left their hospital, but he was “praised” while leaving.

Anish Mahajan, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Chief Medical Officer, said: “Mr. Tiger Woods was transferred to Cedars Sinai Medical Center for continuing orthopedic care and recovery. On behalf of our staff, it was an honor to provide orthopedic trauma care to one of our generation’s greatest athletes.”

Tiger Woods suffered major injuries to his right leg as a result of that crash. This included comminuted open fractures, meaning the bones shattered and broke through the skin. He now has a rod in his leg secured by pins and screws. He is on the mend, but it will still be a long road back to the links for Woods.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
