High School Student Makes Disturbing Joke About George Floyd’s Death In Sadie Hawkins Invite

George Floyd’s shocking death back in May of last year sent at the hands of a police officer shockwaves across the world and ultimately revitalized the Black Lives Matter movement.

A couple of weeks ago on Valentine’s Day, a few LAPD police officers shared a photo of Floyd with the caption: “You Take My Breath Away.” An investigation was conducted to find the ones who shared the photo.

It seems this abhorrent and utterly tasteless joke made its way to Nevada as well recently. Recently, a high school student was seen using the disturbing joke as a Sadie Hawkins dance invite.

The photo of the female student was taken at Foothill High School in Henderson, NV. From the image, it seems the student holding up a poster with a drawing of George Floyd with the following writing:

If you went to SADIES w/ me it would take my BREATH away! George Floyd.”

The identity of the girl in question has not been revealed as of yet. However, it seems this tasteless excuse of a joke seems to be spreading across the country.
