Hilary Duff and Wendy Williams are being accused of libel and slander by a photographer who claims that the actress called him a child predator… then Wendy Williams signal blasted that claim on her talk show.

The Blast reports that Darryl Wilkins is suing Duff and Williams after those comments were picked up on Williams’ show. The Lizzie McGuire actress allegedly had a run-in with him at a public park and she filmed it for Instagram.

Wilkins claims he was in a park testing his new camera when Hilary started this entire mess on Insta. She thought that he was taking pics of her kids, and she got all mama bear on him.

The Feb, 2020 incident started making the rounds on social media and then Wendy Williams later brought it up on her show when she needed a subject. Wilkins claims slander on both of them for allegedly accusing him of, “reprehensible and despicable conduct including by innuendo that he was a child predator.” He’s going after Williams for what she said on her show about him.

Wilkins also said in the suit that these are “false statements because Wilkins is not a pedophile or child predator and was attempting to take photographs as a photographer and not as a paparazzi or stalker or with mal intent or evil wrongdoing.”

He didn’t like being accused of being a sexual deviant just for testing out his camera in the park. He is seeking specific, general, and punitive damages against both Duff and Williams for the alleged malice, oppression, and fraud on their part.
