Jamie Foxx vehemently denies the sexual assault allegations made against him by a woman identified as Jane Doe, who filed a lawsuit against the actor on Wednesday.

According to a spokesperson for Foxx via PageSix, “The alleged incident never happened,” and they are confident that the claims will be dismissed. They pointed out that a similar lawsuit was filed in 2020 in Brooklyn, which was subsequently dismissed.

The lawsuit alleges that the incident occurred in August 2015 at Catch NYC & Roof when Foxx allegedly touched the woman inappropriately during a photo-op. The accuser claims that Foxx was intoxicated and touched her waist, then moved his hands under her top to rub her breasts. She further alleges that the situation escalated, with Foxx allegedly placing his hands into her pants and touching her vagina and anus.

The accuser has also named the restaurant as a defendant in her suit, citing witnesses, including security guards, who were allegedly present during the incident.

Foxx’s spokesperson stated that the Oscar winner intends to pursue a claim for malicious prosecution against the accuser and her attorneys for re-filing the lawsuit.

The woman claimed to have suffered medical and emotional distress as a result of the alleged incident. Although the incident occurred nearly a decade ago, she was able to file her case under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, which allows alleged victims of sexual offenses to file civil suits even when the statute of limitations has passed.

The case remains ongoing, and Catch NYC & Roof has not yet commented on the matter.
