Tyrese isn’t happy with the judge presiding over his divorce case and is requesting a new one, alleging bias.

According to TMZ, the singer and actor filed a motion this week, claiming that Judge Farmer abruptly canceled a court hearing that would have allowed him to present his side of the story before being required to pay a $450,000 bond.

Instead, Tyrese says Judge Farmer ordered him to come up with the six-figure sum within just 10 days, in connection with his appeal of an order in the case. Tyrese had intended to explain during the hearing why he couldn’t pay the money due to the impact of the Hollywood strikes, but the cancellation of the hearing made him feel the judge has a bias against him.

This isn’t the first time Tyrese has had issues with Judge Farmer. Earlier this year, Tyrese accused the judge of being “racist” and allegedly calling his ex-wife a derogatory term in private chambers. He also accused the judge of illegally sealing his case to hide misconduct.

“We tried to get him recused, we tried to get him thrown off the bench because of his conduct and his unprofessionalism. And then there were a bunch of things pertaining to the outcome of my case that he did that was literally illegal.”

Tyrese’s problems with the judge go back to last August when the judge threatened to hold him in contempt of court during a child support hearing. At that hearing, Tyrese was ordered to pay over $10,000 a month in child support to his ex-wife Samantha Gibson for their daughter Soraya Lee. Tensions escalated when Tyrese argued about his earnings with his estranged wife’s lawyer.

In response to Tyrese’s request for a new judge, the court will need to make a decision on the matter.

Tyrese’s ongoing legal battles and his request for a new judge have certainly been filled with controversy and allegations of bias. What are your thoughts on the situation, and do you believe a new judge should be assigned to the case? Leave us a comment.
