Our beloved Karl Urban, aka the badass actor, just dropped a bombshell on Instagram with a sizzling snapshot of himself alongside some co-stars. The caption? “We’re back, baby!”

And here’s the scoop on the casting bombshell of the century! Remember Johnny Cage from the ’95 original? Yeah, we all missed him in the 2021 reboot, but fret not, Kombatants. The sequel is dropping a Johnny Cage bombshell, and it’s none other than Karl Urban!

In Mortal Kombat 2, Urban is reuniting with the surviving crew from the last movie, including Lewis Tan, Mehcad Brooks, Jessica McNamee, Ludi Li, Tadanobu Asano, Chin Han, and Joe Taslim. But wait, there’s more! New faces are joining the fray, like CJ Bloomfield as Baraka, Martyn Ford as Shao Khan, and Ana Thu Nguyen as Queen Sindel. Prepare for a battle royale like never before!
