Sony’s ‘Madame Web’ Reveals First Trailer

The success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man trilogy has prompted Sony to fully dive into their own Spider-Man universe again, which is why they have been working on ‘Madame Web’ for the past couple of years. Now the first trailer for the film has dropped and it features a lot of great scenes.

Last year, ’50 Shades of Grey’ star Dakota Johnson confirmed she will be portraying the role of Madame Web in Sony’s ‘Madame Web.’ That’s not all as Sydney Sweeney from ‘Euphoria’ will be portraying the role of Julia Carpenter.

With “Madame Web” slated to be one of the few Marvel movies hitting the screens in 2024, Sony Pictures chose the right time to drop its first trailer today. The trailer features Dakota Johnson in action, as well as quite a few action scenes and plot points, perfectly setting the tone for the upcoming film.

The other cast members include Isabela Merced, Emma Roberts, Celeste O’Connor, Adam Scott, Tahar Rahim, Mike Epps, and Zosia Mamet. It will be directed by SJ Clarkson, who has worked on projects such as ‘Succession.’

The film is set to drop on February 14th, 2024 in theaters all around the world and February 16th in the USA. It remains to be seen how the film will turn out next year.
