Grimes Pursued Elon Musk to 12 Different Locations to Hand Him Custody Papers

Elon Musk certainly needs no introduction. He might be one of the wealthiest men in the world, but he is not without his fair share of controversies. He also isn’t the best partner, which is why Grimes pursued him to 12 different locations just to hand him custody papers.

Elon Musk and Grimes broke up earlier last year, after the birth of their second child together. They might not be officially a couple, but the two are still involved in each other’s lives.

According to documents obtained by Business Insider, Grimes hired four different process servers who made efforts to locate Musk in at least 12 different locations and serve him custody papers.

The servers visited Musk’s X headquarters in San Francisco, SpaceX’s launch site in Boca Chica, Texas, Tesla’s factory in Austin, and other addresses in the southern city. They even went to Musk’s horse ranch in Texas, where they were reportedly told that he was not present. The servers reportedly went to great lengths to try and locate Musk from Oct. 13 to Oct. 20, including tracking his private jets.

In California, serving legal papers correctly and at the right time is crucial for the court to proceed with a case. The court documents indicate that after multiple unsuccessful attempts, Grimes’ process servers were compelled to leave the custody papers with Musk’s security teams at X, Tesla, and SpaceX.

Grimes sued Musk in California for the parental rights of their three children, X Æ A-Xii, 3, Exa Dark Sideræl and Techno Mechanicus, both 1 and this led to a lot of drama between the two that continues even now. We’ll have to see what will become of them both in the end.
