Last year, Ronda Rousey made a highly anticipated comeback during the Royal Rumble event after a nearly three-year absence from WWE. Despite winning two championships after her return, her reigns were relatively unremarkable. Now it seems there is a belief that Rousey was never as comfy as Logan Paul is in WWE.

On the other hand, Logan Paul rose to prominence by excelling as a YouTube influencer and a professional boxer. During 2022, The Maverick had an exceptional year, facing off against notable rivals like The Miz and Roman Reigns, which enhanced his standing in the industry.

While speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff shared his thoughts on Rousey’s time with the wrestling company. He claimed that the former SmackDown Women’s Champion was never comfortable as a character in Vince McMahon’s promotion, which caused a disconnect between her and the audience.

The former RAW general manager went on to compare Rousey to Logan Paul. Bischoff did not feel that Rousey lacked talent or potential, but rather that she did not possess the same level of passion for wrestling that Logan Paul did. Bischoff acknowledged Rousey’s professional commitment to the sport, but felt that she was not yet at the same level as Logan Paul when it came to connecting with the audience and being born for wrestling.

“All I can tell you is that from the moment she arrived in WWE, I didn’t feel a connection to her. I mean, let me say that differently. I didn’t feel as though she made a connection to the audience. There was something there that wasn’t complete. The connection is like 90%. I never felt that she was comfortable in WWE as a character. Just a feeling.

“With Ronda, it’s not a lack of talent. It’s not a lack of potential. I just don’t feel she’s as passionate about it. There’s definitely a professional commitment on her part. I know she really wants this, and I know how hard it is for her to do what she’s doing, especially given the amount of pressure that’s on her because of who she is and the expectations that come with that. She’s not there yet. I’ve never felt that connection and I still don’t. Logan Paul, I felt the connection immediately. I felt like Logan felt like he was born for this, whereas with Ronda, I feel like she wants to do this, and there’s just a subtle difference between being born for it and wanting to do it

WWE has already confirmed that Logan Paul will do battle with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39 and fans are more excited for that match than Ronda Rousey’s match. We’ll have to see how they will fare in their respective matches.
