Bad Bunny Says He Wouldn’t Miss Upcoming WWE Return At Backlash In Puerto Rico

Bad Bunny partnered up with Damian Priest and duked it out against The Miz & John Morrison in a tag team match on Night One of WrestleMania 37 in 2021. Bad Bunny’s performance was better than anyone expected. The same could be said about his Royal Rumble appearance last year. Bad Bunny is also set to host WWE Backlash this year and now it seems he has commented on it.

Bad Bunny is a multi-talented artist who has garnered global fame not only as a rapper but also as a WWE Superstar. Fans of the Puerto Rican artist will be thrilled to learn that he is set to make a return to the WWE stage for their Backlash pay-per-view event, which will take place in his home country.

WWE announced today that Backlash will take place on Saturday, May 6, from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This will be the first WWE Premium Live Event to take place in Puerto Rico since New Year’s Revolution in January 2005.

While speaking during the press release, Bad Bunny commented on his upcoming hosting gig at the WWE Backlash Premium Live Event. Bunny made it clear that he will not miss his WWE return.

Bad Bunny expressed his excitement for WWE’s upcoming event in a press release today, recalling how he was unable to attend New Year’s Revolution at el Coliseo as a child in 2005. He stated that he is thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of the upcoming massive event in Puerto Rico, which marks WWE’s return to the island after 18 long years, and he won’t be missing it this time around.

“In 2005 when I was a kid, I wasn’t able to attend New Year’s Revolution at el Coliseo.

Finally, 18 years later WWE returns to the island with a massive event and this time I won’t miss it.”

We will have to wait and see how Bad Bunny will fare as the host of WWE Backlash this year. Needless to say, fans are very excited about his upcoming appearance on WWE television.
