‘Succession’ is one of the most well-liked television programs ever produced, having garnered 4 Emmy wins at the 2022 Primetime Emmys, including the prestigious Outstanding Drama Series award. With that being said, the trailer for the highly anticipated upcoming season has been released online, and it seems that there is a significant amount of tension within the Roy family.

In the latest trailer, it is hinted that the Roy siblings are preparing for their final showdown with their father Logan (Brian Cox), who outwitted them in the Season 3 finale with the help of Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) and prevented them from thwarting the Waystar Royco and GoJo deal. According to the official logline,

“The sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson moves ever closer. The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is complete.

A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.”
