Drake has a long-running habit of betting on events. He has done it multiple times by putting his money on the big matchups in sporting events. He has won a significant amount by doing so. However, it doesn’t always go according to plan, as this time he lost $400,000.

Jake Paul and Tommy Fury were having a 1v1 inside the ring at an event in Saudi Arabia. Both the fighters gave their best at the Diriyah Arena in Riyadh as Jake initially looked to dominate the match. However, after eight grueling rounds, Fury won by a split decision.

Drake instinctively put $400k on Jake Paul winning the fight. However, as the results came about, the rapper found himself on the losing side. Champagne Papi was all set to bag a possible $1.44 million if the fight had gone in his favor.

The YouTuber had finally been given the chance to resolve his conflict with his longtime foe Fury. In what was undoubtedly the toughest test of his boxing career, the influencer had a big night to establish himself. Unfortunately, he didn’t win, and Drake also lost his gamble.

Drake has had mixed fortunes since beginning his recent gambling campaign on combat sports. He has gambled huge bets on the Super Bowl, AFC Championship, UFC, and the World Cup. Meanwhile, Tommy’s brother, Tyson, backed him to take out Paul when they hit the ring and staked $100,000 on his brother to come through with the victory.

It was an intense fight between two of the biggest stars in the new era of boxing. Fury had a lot more ring experience than Jake but the latter was an even matchup with Tommy. Drake and Jake Paul did lose out on this occasion but the fans witnessed an entertaining bout.
