Pink recently released her latest album’ Trustfall’ on February 17, 2023 and is planning a tour for the summer and fall of 2023. As she is making rounds for promotion, Pink appeared on Buzzfeed and was asked to rate her top music videos of all time as part of an interactive game. Interestingly she listed possibly one of the greatest songs and collaborations she had in the early 2000s as the last ‘Lady Marmalade’ and significantly, Pink failed to include the song’s main vocalist Christina Aguilera. Fans were once again led down a rabbit hole with many claiming that Pink has uncovered the long-rumored Pink-Christina Aguilera beef.

The ‘So What’ singer explained on Friday that she wasn’t “shading” her fellow Grammy winner when she recently questioned the vibe on the “Lady Marmalade” music video set. “Y’all are nuts,” Pink tweeted after telling BuzzFeed UK that the 2001 shoot wasn’t “fun.”

She continued, “Xtina had s–t to do with who was on that song. If you don’t know by now — I’m not ‘shading’ someone by telling it over and over and over what actually happened. I’m zero percent interested in your f–king drama.” The songwriter also made it clear that she is “a little busy selling … tickets and albums and bake sales and s–t” to shade the ‘Dirrty’ singer.

Pink ended her social media rant by referencing her previous spin-the-bottle smooch with Aguilera at a birthday celebration, saying, “I kissed xtinas mouth. I don’t need to kiss her ass.” Nevertheless, the ‘Try’ singer earlier told BuzzFeed UK that the ‘Lady Marmalade’ video ranked last among her 12 “most iconic” releases since it featured “a lot of fuss” and “personalities.” Pink then went on to call Lil Kim and Mya “nice,” without mentioning Aguilera.

The Daytime Emmy winner has previously addressed the video, criticizing label executive Ron Fair in her 2009 “Behind the Music” special. “He didn’t say hi to any of us and said, ‘What’s the high part? What’s the most singing part? Christina’s going to take that part,’” she recalled. “And I stood up, and I said ‘Hi. How are you? So nice of you to introduce yourself. I’m Pink. She will not be taking that part. I think that’s what the f–king meeting’s about.”

Eight years later, on ‘Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,’ the American Music Award nominee said that Aguilera once swung at her, but they finally hugged it out. On a January 2019 ‘WWHL’ appearance, Aguilera denied the story, telling Andy Cohen that Pink was frightening on the ‘Lady Marmalade’ set. Keep an eye on Thirsty for the most latest updates.
