Tupac Shakur’s Estate concluded a five-year-old lawsuit with Death Row Records in 2018 over royalties owed to the late rapper. A batch of unreleased music was handed up in addition to financial compensation, and plans to release two albums were discussed. According to recent reports, 2Pac’s estate is planning to release four previously unheard tracks by the late rapper as part of a Greatest Hits album.

The announcement comes from 2Pac’s ‘only official fan page,’ which stated on Instagram that the album “will consist of previously released recordings from the ‘2Pacalypse Now’ period to Pac’s ‘Thug Life’ period with 4 previously unreleased Pre-Death Row tracks.”

In a December podcast interview, 2Pac associate E-Love revealed that unreleased Battlecat-produced tracks were in the vault and will be released sometime in 2023. “Bob did more songs with him than I did,” E-Love said on the I Only Touch Greatness podcast. “I did two to three songs. Actually two songs are coming out next year. Bob did a string of songs that still have not yet come out.”

Suge Knight Jr. moved on social media in 2019 to elaborate on his claims that 2Pac was still alive, claiming that the Hip Hop legend was even releasing new music. “I GOT PAC BACK IN THE STUDIO. NEW MUSIC COMING,” he wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “This ain’t a joke. @NewDeathRow??/?? Coming soon.”

While many questioned Knight’s mental health others believed his posts were simply a convoluted manner of promoting the Tupac Shakur Estate’s unreleased songs. While the belief that 2Pac is still alive is a stretch, fans may now text the late rapper because of a new artificial intelligence chatbot that allows users to communicate historical figures.

Historical Figures was introduced last month and ‘Pac is one of 20,000 names that people may mail, including Babe Ruth, Biggie Smalls, and even Adolf Hitler. However, the app has already sparked some debate with users pointing out historical mistakes in some of their conversations. Keep an eye on Thirsty for the most latest updates.
