Roman Reigns has been a dominant force since his comeback to WWE a couple of years ago. He quickly made a name for himself by capturing the Universal Championship and solidifying himself as the undisputed champion. Reigns has left a trail of defeated opponents in his wake, showcasing his dominance and maintaining an impressive reign as champion. The Tribal Chief continues to inspire awe and dominate the competition.
The Head Of The Table has been a champion for well over two years now, and his utter dominance continues to inspire many people. In fact, Reigns has become the biggest star in pro wrestling for many already.
This is hard to argue as Reigns’ sheer star power and mainstream appeal have exceeded all expectations. In fact, Reigns has come into his own as The Tribal Chief in such a way, Paul Heyman believes Reigns should win an Emmy.
While speaking with Variety’s Joe Otterson, Paul Heyman talked about Roman Reigns’ current character as the Tribal Chief of WWE. Heyman stated that it is a shame Reigns has not won an Emmy yet, giving props to Reigns’ current character.
“I will honestly state that I’ll put Roman Reigns and his portrayal of the Tribal Chief up against anybody right now in how he has approached a reality-based character of the top star of the industry,” Heyman said. “And the fact that he’s not recognized by the people that are there to reward such performances with an award, to me, is disconcerting.”
The Tribal Chief will be defending his titles against Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber on February 18th. We will have to wait nad see how the match will turn out. That being said, an Emmy win might just be in Reigns’ future.
