Jay-Z Tries To Calm Down Denzel Washington During Heated Argument At Lakers Game

Jay-Z is widely acknowledged as one of the most influential artists in the hip-hop industry. Jay is also interested in fields other than hip-hop, but his first love will always be music. While the rapper is one of the most popular in his field, it seems his expertise isn’t restricted to just music as he recently calmed down Denzel Washington during a heated argument at a Lakers game.

An eyewitness reported observing Jay-Z attempting to mediate a tense disagreement between Denzel Washington during a Lakers game in Los Angeles earlier in the week.

A video that has since gone viral depicts the incident that occurred during the Lakers game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday, February 7th. In the clip, Denzel Washington is seen shouting at an individual on the sidelines, at which point Jay-Z intervenes and effectively defuses the situation.

The video shows the two men embracing and then laughing and smiling as they return to their seats. Tuesday’s game proved to be an iconic moment for the sport as LeBron James surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.

Meanwhile, both Billboard and VIBE have declared Jay-Z as the greatest rapper of all time. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for Hov.
