Jim Carrey has become one of the most influential actors in Hollywood. He has a range and acting skills unmatched by any other actor. Now in his later years as an actor, he has expressed a desire to leave Hollywood by selling his massive mansion.

According to RadarOnline.com, Jim Carrey has listed his humongous 12,704-square-foot mansion for sale. The amount has been reported to be around $29 million. This has come after the actor wanted a ‘change’ in his life and wanted to move away from the Los Angeles area.

Carrey’s mansion is filled up with luxuries and amenities as you would expect from a celeb’s home. It boasts five bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms and endless gorgeous views. It is set behind more than 280 feet of hedged frontage and is located in the heart of Brentwood.

The actor’s long-term residence includes a big courtyard terrace and a chef’s kitchen. It has a bar area, lots of cabinets, and high-end stainless steel appliances, all of which are complemented by natural light from the room’s many windows. The listing describes its modern interiors, which feature polished brick, hardwood floors, beamed ceilings, and skylights.

This isn’t all as there’s more to what makes this massive mansion so special. There is a custom art deco theater that has mohair-covered sofas, burl wood columns, a snack area, and a lavish marble bathroom. A pool with a waterfall in the backyard and a jacuzzi to soak in makes it even more alluring.

Jim Carrey bought the estate in 1994 for $3.8 million. This was right before the release of Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Since then he has proved himself to be a great actor. Now that he wishes to part from this property, only memories will remain inside the four walls of the mansion.
