Last year, the music industry was hit with the tragic news of Takeoff’s passing. The rapper was playing dice in a Houston bowling alley on Halloween when an altercation broke out resulting in several people being shot. Takeoff, who was one of the people shot, was pronounced dead by the authorities.

Following his death, he was honored with a grand funeral in his hometown of Atlanta which was attended by Quavo, Offset, Cardi B, Justin Timberlake, and Drake.

Last night at the Grammy, Quavo performed an emotional tribute to Takeoff during the In Memoriam segment of the show. He performed “Without You” which he wrote for Takeoff. Meanwhile, Offset was in attendance and didn’t join Quavo on stage for the performance.

Following the performance, rumors started circulating that there was a physical altercation that took place backstage between Quavo and Offset. However, those rumors have been put to rest by Offset who denies the altercation even took place. He said, “What tf [it] look like fighting my brother [y’all] n—s is crazy.”
