The fracture of Conor McGregor’s ankle in the closing moments of Round 1 at UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier in 2021 was a pivotal moment that drastically altered not only McGregor’s life, but also the public perception of him. That being said, now it seems Dana White has officially announced his return fight.

The Irishman has been working very hard on his road to recovery since 2021. He has always kept fans updated on his progress, and they couldn’t be happier for McGregor.

Conor McGregor previously revealed that he will not be making his return to the UFC as a lightweight. That being said, it’s likely he is returning this year. In fact, now fans know who he’ll be facing.
