The Kar-Jenner family members are frequently targeted by trolls due to their overuse of Photoshop, excessive plastic surgery, and so on. However, some critics are now claiming that Kylie Jenner, who celebrated Stormi and Aire’s joint birthday, “mocked” the Astroworld tragedy with her decorative elements.
The reality star took to her Instagram to share pictures from the party on her Stories on Wednesday, showing a number of inflatable heads that appeared to be copies of Travis Scott’s “Astroworld” album cover. The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star’s daughter’s previous parties included a similar blow-up tunnel.
This created a buzz on the internet and Twitter users criticized the reality star’s choice to reuse the old head this year. “Wtf?” one person tweeted. “Where’s the respect?” A different user suggested Jenner “try something new” for her children’s parties. In the wake of the tragic crowd crush, a third person described the theme as “a bit scary.”
Fans continued to criticize the beauty tycoon’s choice to not “destroy any allusion” to Astroworld in a Reddit thread. One complained, saying, “Isn’t this tasteless after the Astroworld tragedy… where children died.”
Scott hasn’t yet shared anything on social media about Stormi and Aire’s birthdays, but Jenner paid a lovely tribute to their oldest child on Wednesday. “I gave you the gift of life and life gave me the gift of you,” the Kylie Cosmetics creator wrote in the caption of an Instagram slideshow.
“the most special girl. this little face. i will miss it as it keeps changing. 5 years of loving you and forever more to go. i will always be there for you storm girl.”
