WWE Changes Tag Team Name Due To Similarity To Adult Film Company

Sheamus had a great career in WWE, winning multiple championships during his time in the company. The Celtic Warrior has almost done it all when it comes to being a WWE Superstar. He is also best friends with Drew McIntyre and has been teaming up with The Scottish Warrior for a while now. Their tag team has been called The Banger Bros and it seems WWE decided to drop the name.

It was announced earlier this month that the team of Sheamus and Drew McIntyre are now called “The Banger Bros.” The name caught a lot of attention and fans had mixed reactions to it on social media due to the title resonating with the popular adult film company, “Bang Bros.”

Sheamus and Drew McIntyre have acknowledged the similarity of their names through jokes on social media, indicating that they are fully aware of the resemblance.

In fact, even WWE was aware of what the tag team name sounded like. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was revelaed that WWE has decided to drop the name entirely due to its resembleance to the adult company.
