Kanye West is widely regarded as one of the most controversial rappers in the world. Ye’s thoughts and ideologies almost always land him in trouble. Despite this, he doesn’t shy away from speaking his mind.

Over the past several months, Kanye West has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. It all started with his White Lives Matter movement and then it was his antisemitic remarks against Jewish people. These comments enranged several people and resulted in West being dropped by several companies including Adidas.

50 Cent recently appeared on Big Boy’s Neighbourhood, a radio show, where he was asked about Kanye West’s recent downfall. West has been facing intense backlash and criticism after making controversial “White Lives Matter” comments on social media. In response, 50 Cent stated that he believes West “stepped on a landmine” with those comments, suggesting that he made a mistake by making such a divisive statement.

“I don’t know what to—I really didn’t know what the goal was cause he just was sayin’ everything you’re not supposed to say. I think, intentionally. It was White Lives Matter first. And then nobody jumps on his because… It didn’t have that effect. You angered some people with that and then just taking it a step further. He just stepped on a landmine,” said 50 Cent.
