Dana White is known to be a very divisive figure in the MMA world for quite a number of reasons. This is mostly because of the way he has handled the issue of UFC fighters getting paid proper money. That being said, White became part of a huge controversy after he slapped his wife on New Year’s Eve. In fact, Dustin Poirier also believes that White slapping his wife was not a good look for him at all.

As previously reported, Dana White and his wife got physical with each other on New Year’s Eve, something that people did not expect at the Cabo San Lucas nightclub. People simply did not realize just how serious this incident would turn out and how big of a deal it would become eventually.

In fact, TBS ended up pulling Dana White’s Power Slap show. While speaking with Bloody Elbow, Dustin Poirier talked about the slapping incident concerning Dana White. Poirier made it clear that Dana White was wrong to have slapped his wife and that it was not a good look for him at all.

“Dude, I’m not sure. I have no clue,” Poirier said when asked what should follow the incident. “You should never put your hands on a woman. I don’t know the repercussions that come along with somebody of his stature, running these businesses and doing something like that. I have no clue. It’s not a good look for sure

On the other hand, Sean O’Malley believes Dana White’s wife deserved to be slapped. White’s incident also ended up sparking outrage as they simply want White to be held accountable for his actions. We will have to wait and see what will become of the UFC President in the end.
