Donald Trump will be carrying his problems to 2023. The former president’s federal tax returns have been made public. On Friday, the House Ways and Means Committee released six years of Trump and his wife Melania’s joint tax returns.

According to CBS News, the documents contain previously unreleased information. The returns revealed private loans and foreign bank accounts. The documents also show loans Trump gave to his children, income from Melania’s modeling, and other details.

For years, Trump has tried to keep his federal return out of the public spotlight. Earlier this week, he accused Democrats of illegally disclosing his returns. The tax returns also disclosed details about Donald and Melania Trump’s income during his time as POTUS.

During Trump’s first two years as president, the Internal Revenue Service allegedly failed to undertake mandatory audits. It was also discovered that for a few years, the couple reported negative income and little or no tax due. Trump donated a percentage of his income during his first three years as president, but he recorded no charity donations in 2020.

The announcement comes after Trump allegedly referred the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 attack on the Capitol for possible criminal charges. Charges include incitement of insurrection and conspiracy to defraud the United States. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty For News.
