Matthew Perry gained fame as Chandler Bing on Friends and established his place in pop culture, which he is still a part of today. However, Perry recalled a date he once had with Cameron Diaz and claimed the actress had punched him in the face in his new memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing.”

The “Friends” star claimed that he and Diaz were hooked up immediately after her breakup with Justin Timberlake in 2007. In his book, Perry recalls that during their group dinner party, Diaz “immediately stoned” and “wasn’t interested in [him] at all.”

Diaz allegedly “accidentally” slapped Perry’s face while trying to hit his shoulder when he said “something witty” to the “Charlie’s Angels” actress during a game of Pictionary. “Are you f–king kidding me?” he remembers replying.

However, Perry’s book “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing,” which will be launched on November 1, doesn’t just focus on that issue. Perry also mentioned allegedly hitting Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau while they were kids and unintentionally punching “Saturday Night Live” alum Chevy Chase in the balls.

While the book mostly focuses on Perry’s long-term addiction difficulties, the “Go On” star also discusses his love life. The “Odd Couple” alum not only claimed to have kissed Valerie Bertinelli in 1990 while Eddie Van Halen was sleeping nearby, he also gave an explanation for why he broke up with Julia Roberts in the 1990s.
