Warner Bros. Pictures released Black Adam to theaters in the United States on October 21st, 2022. Critics appreciated Dwayne Johnson and Pierce Brosnan’s performances, while the screenplay and villain were criticized, and the action sequences garnered mixed reactions. Dwayne recently appeared to bash critics by highlighting Rotten Tomatoes’ audience score, and now Maxwell Jacob Friedman has come to his defense.

MJF rushed to Twitter to tell his fans what he thinks of The Rock’s latest movie. The AEW star made sure to tag Rock and claim that he watched the movie last night. Then he went on to criticize those who said the movie was bad.

Critics panned the film, in which Johnson plays the DC antihero, in the week leading up to its release on Friday, October 21. As a result, Black Adam has a 41% critic score on the review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes, which was based on 209 reviews at the time of writing. However, cinema fans have also given it great marks, giving the film a current audience score of 90%.
