Roy Jones Jr. is one of the most gifted boxers to ever exist. From 1989 until 2018, he competed in boxing and held multiple world championships in four weight classes. Roy is now making a comeback in the ring.

The boxing icon has signed a deal with Celebrity Boxing, and the promotion is now looking for a big-name social media star or celebrity for the Hall of Fame pugilist to fight. Jones Jr., 53, recently inked a contract with Celebrity Boxing founder Damon Feldman, who is ecstatic with the agreement.

“We are so excited. It’s our biggest event ever, and we’re looking for a big opponent for Roy,” Feldman told the outlet. Roy’s most recent fight was in November 2020 against Mike Tyson. A draw was declared after an eight-round exhibition match.

The majority of fans believed that it was an excellent bout and event. Prior to the fight with Iron Mike, Roy was last in a ring professionally in February 2018. There he defeated Scott Sigmon by unanimous decision.

RJJ is now returning to the squared circle. Celeb Boxing has already staged fights between celebrities, such as Lamar Odom vs. Aaron Carter last year. This is, however, the next level of Celebrity Boxing. Roy dominated the greatest competitors throughout a wide range of weight classes.

To mention a few, he defeated Felix Trinidad (2008), Antonio Tarver (2003), John Ruiz (2003), James Toney (1994), and Bernard Hopkins (1993). Let’s see what the star has in store for us next. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
