Kanye West is synonymous with making inflammatory comments at this point, and the rapper doesn’t seem to stop. Ye has once again ignited widespread anger for claiming George Floyd died of fentanyl overdose. Former NBA player Stephen Jackson isn’t happy with the rapper’s remarks as well.

Ye said on the latest episode of Drink Champs that Floyd died of a fentanyl overdose. His statement was referring to ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, who was convicted of murdering Floyd.

If you look, the guy’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that.

Over the weekend, Jackson took to Instagram to voice his displeasure with the rapper’s remarks. He labeled Kanye a “clout” chaser for making such claims, and while he did not explicitly mention the rapper, his target was obvious. He also chastised others for “dissing” Floyd in the aftermath of his death.

Jackson is just one of many celebs who have called out Ye on this matter. Boosie Badazz also took shot at the rapper in a series of tweets. All this Kanye drama began when the Chicago-native rapper unveiled “White Lives Matter” shirts at YZYSZN9 fashion show in Paris.

Kanye shared anti-Semitic rants on his social media accounts last week, which resulted in him getting locked out of both Twitter and Instagram. His Drink Champs interview seems to have only fueled the ongoing controversy. Check out Jackson’s post below.
