George Floyd was killed in 2020 after police officer Derek Chauvin kneeled on his neck for over nine minutes. He died due to lack of oxygen which resulted in brain damage and heart failure. The police officer Derek Chauvin was found guilty of murder and sentenced to 21 years in prison.
However, Kanye West, during an appearance on Drink Champs podcast, claimed that George dies as a result of fentanyl use. This comment didn’t sit well with Boosie BadAzz who slammed Kanye West on Twitter regarding his comments on George Floyd.
“Tryin to shit on GF N F**K UP HIS GLORY SMH #really I THINK U ON FENTANYL,” Boosie wrote.
In another post, he added: “@kanyewest THE HATRED YOU HAVE FOR BLACKS IS SAD. N they STILL SUPPORT YOUR C**N A**. First Slavery was a choice, white lives matter, now George Floyd etc. N ITS SAD THAT BLACKS WITH A PLATFORM AINT TELLING U S**T for ATTACKING OUR RACE LIKE U DO #WELLIAM U SICK FRFR”
Kanye West could also face a lawsuit from the George Floyd’s family. Their attorney Lee Merritt warned of their intent to do so on Sunday.
